Where Is Jersey City’s Hamilton Park Neighborhood?

Out of all the smaller neighborhoods featured in Jersey City, Hamilton Park is one of the easiest to spot. Located just outside of the Holland Tunnel and a block from the Newport Mall, it is conveniently located for those looking to be close to New York City, Hoboken, or the Jersey City waterfront. The entire neighborhood consists of the blocks that surround the actual Hamilton Park. The park itself acts as the center of the neighborhood. 

Hamilton Park’s Main Landmark

The park in the center of this small neighborhood is a major landmark, and it’s gorgeous. Decked out with Victorian gas lamps, iron accents, and more, Hamilton Park is designed to make it easy for locals to enjoy fresh air and sunlight. 

Recently the park went through an overhaul. So if you enjoy updated playgrounds, basketball courts, a dog run, and freshly cleaned amenities, this is a great place to be.

Along with a gorgeous park, Hamilton Park offers a few other cool things to do in and around the neighborhood. Like most other Jersey City neighborhoods, it doesn’t take too long to find high-quality eateries or events. 

The park itself also happens to host family-friendly outdoor movie nights. Fans of culture or free fun are highly encouraged to attend.
